Meet the Team

Steve Caddy

is an experienced Chartered Secretary, specialising in corporate law and governance, employment and general management issues. He has worked in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors and, as a consultant, has advised a number of commercial and not-for-profit organisations. He was formerly Company Secretary/Deputy Chief Executive of C-FAR.

Theresa Owens

is a highly respected and skilled trainer, facilitator and mentor with a person centred and pragmatic approach to training, education and personal and professional development. Her professional academic qualifications in teaching and counselling complement her skills and training as an NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coach, Hypnotist and Reiki Master, all of which enable her to adopt an holistic approach to her work.

Trevor Philpott OBE FRSA

served for 34 years in the Royal Marines undertaking operational, training and staff appointments in the UK, Europe and the Far East. In 1982 he graduated from the Royal Navy Staff College, Greenwich. During 1988 - 90 he commanded Commando Training Wing Royal Marines and in 1993 attended the NATO Defence College in Rome, subsequently serving on the staff of CINC South in Italy.

In 1997 others and he established C-FAR, a charitable training company that helped to rehabilitate young adult offenders. The project provided 11-week residential programmes of personal development, academic, social and life skills training followed by 9-months intensive mentoring back in the community. They succeeded in reducing re-offending by over 40%. Unfortunately, owing to cash flow difficulties, in April 2005 the charity went into voluntary liquidation. Following their depth of experience in running the project and wide public support to continue with their work, with Theresa and Steve, they established Life Change UK.
