Trevor Philpott OBE FRSA - Director
In 1997 he and others established C-FAR, a charitable training company that helped to rehabilitate young adult persistent offenders. The project provided 11-week residential programmes of personal development, academic, social and life skills training followed by 9-months intensive mentoring back in the community. They succeeded in reducing re-offending by over 40%. Unfortunately, owing to a lack of Criminal Justice funding, in April 2005 the charity went into voluntary liquidation. Following their considerable experience in running the project and working with challenging behaviour, with Theresa and Steve, he established Life Change UK.
Trevor was a member of the CSJ Prison Reform Group and following his long service in the Royal Marines, he is now working as a volunteer to establish a new project aimed at rehabilitating veteran offenders.
